The defensive efforts of Sid and the Rock and their defensive colleagues weren't quite enough to stop two St Ives goals.

Unfortunately we only got one...a stunning reverse stick effort from man-in-form Shabhaz Ali.

St Ives's three man central spine, obviously used to playing in higher leagues, kept control in spite of some good Cambridge South breakaways. We had a few chances, but no easy ones.

The winner came right at the end from a short corner and deflected shot. Ah well.
