The M3s began the season with a gruelling trip up to Wisbech. The weather was favourable but our fitness levels were not, with South remaining camped in our own half for large stretches of the first half. A quick counter saw George Anderson nab an unlikely lead for South before Wisbech quickly pegged us back with a 2-1 lead at half time.

South responded strongly with Jack Chalk scoring a fortuitous goal as his effort deflected off a defender into the net! Sadly South's luck ran out and with it our fitness. Wisbech hammered home their obvious superiority to win comfortably in the end 5-2.
