Remarks: A majority one-sided game to South, who dominated possession, with a few counter attacks by Spalding. Most of the game was spent in Spalding’s half, however South struggled to convert due to the defensive style of play demonstrated by Spalding.
 Generally a safe game, no cards given to either team. However, one Spalding player was nearly carded due to first running off the base line too quickly and then repetitively running back from the middle of the pitch when repeatedly told not to. Resulted in a goal by South midfielder (No. 22) after four shorts taken in a row. 
It can be argued that the South goalkeeper (No. 79) had an amazing game, making two majestic diving sweeps, including taking a Spalding player off their feet, to represent his only two involvements in the game. Could possibly be said that it was his best performance of the season, earning him MoM.
Rumours were heard that South forward (No. 100) made some badly timed comments at the end of the match, hence gaining LoM. Hopefully nothing too controversial.
