In an exhilarating hockey match, the L2s staged a remarkable comeback, overturning a 1-0 deficit to triumph with a final score of 2-1. Throughout the game, each player displayed exemplary skill and determination, but special recognition goes to Zoe, the goalkeeper, whose remarkable saves kept the team in contention. However, it was Sophie who earned the title of "Man of the Match" for her exceptional runs with the ball, inspiring her teammates with her incredible performance. Furthermore, Rebecca's sportsmanship shone brightly as she led the team in giving three cheers to south, winning her lemon of the match and showcasing the true spirit of the game. The goals were scored by Sophie (composed tennis shot in the air) and Rhi (post line deflection from a Jess strike...was it going in?) whose precise strikes demonstrated the team's offensive prowess.
Overall, it was a thrilling match filled with outstanding teamwork and individual brilliance.
