I’ll be honest I’ve never had to write a match report complete from my own imagination before so this is a bit of a unique experience.
As you can guess trying to describe any of the goals despite having seen none of them is rather difficult however I will endeavour to give it a go.
So uhh what happened on Saturday then well given the M5s that I’m familiar with I can only assume we started pretty lackadaisically with James M  and Josh R screaming some words about structure and passing movements in our classic style.
Only for Ivo B to fire in another top-corner reverse strike as is his standard after all I’ve not seen him hit anything else so it must have happened.
Followed by Jamie C  reminding everyone that he was goal king last year and scoring a proper hat trick the first one for the M5s since 2023 proper Suiiii included I’m sure.
Continued by goals from Josh and Danny in which I can only assume they assisted one another because that’s all they seem to do even if the goals get disallowed like last week.

The conceded  goal then, who knows how this happened my best guess  is that our normally Jose Mourinho-level defence it was without its fearless leader (Me) and due to my absence they felt the need to let one in  clearly to draw me away from the lure of Greek Ozuoo in spite to  of it being Miles  W debut where I’ve been assured by James M he played like prime
Gianluigi Buffon.

Special mention to Will B for another Mom performance I can only assume it was classic  1 vs 3 defending as usual so good job there.

All in all good result despite my clearly missed on-pitch presence, on to the next one lads which is 10:30 away in Wisbeach  (yuck)
