We don't need to talk about the score. Instead, let's talk about the bit that mattered: the last few seconds.

As the final whistle approached, South produced a moment of quality to score what was unquestionably the best goal of the match. Some people may choose to focus on the other 13 goals scored that afternoon, but frankly ours came last, so it's the only one worth mentioning.

A huge congratulations to Shree, our deserved POM, who worked tirelessly throughout, putting in great tackles and battling for every ball despite the scoreboard's persistent attempts to tell a different story.

Meanwhile, LOM was awarded to yours truly. The reasons remain unclear. Was it the pre-match tactical advice? The advice on how to get away with stick tackles? Or the impressive technique of deflecting the ball off my forehead?

Ultimately, let's focus on the important facts: we scored the last goal, we scored the best goal, and everyone knows that if the last goal wins, we're the winners, 3 points to us.

Round 2 next week!
