After the long winter break and the wipe-out of the first two weeks of league games in 2013 by snow, this 2nd vs 1st clash was a hotly anticipated return to league action. And it went South’s way 5-0 as... Boston failed to raise a side. Oh.

Not exactly the most fulfilling way for us to go back to the top of the table for the first time since 13th October. But given how tight the promotion zone is with just two points covering four sides, not only are the points very welcome but also the five goal boost to our goal difference that a walkover brings.

We won’t have to wait long to play in a 1st vs 2nd match, as we take our new position as leaders to St. Ives next Saturday, who also leapfrogged Boston this weekend.
