Right…what can I say about our match…L2 versus City 3…let's just say the weather was amazing, apparently we haven’t had a Halloween this hot since 1968!

We arrived, all (but some) fresh and ready to play the game. We all knew it was going to be a tough game and therefore gave ourselves a realistic target: anything less the 0-6 to City would be a win to us… Unfortunately they managed to get past the 0-6 in the first half so I’m afraid to say, we didn’t win the match….

We did however have a few star players. Lottie and Jen were both nominated Man of the Match, Alice did amazing in goal (hard to believe but it could have been worse) and we even managed to scare the City’s goalie once when Lucy and Cath came into their D without any of their defence to help. Unfortunately we were also so shocked that we actually made it into their D that we forgot to score a goal and they took the ball, raced it across the pitch and showed us what we were meant to do…hmmm…. It wasn’t pretty.

Anyway, no one had to be taken to hospital this week, which was great and most of us will be getting drunk dressed up as trolls this evening so all will be forgotten by the morning… Better luck next week.
