A brand new line up for our first game of the season on a lovely sunny morning.

Considering we had not played together before, the team worked well. With no regular goalkeeper, Pippa kindly padded up and made some excellent saves. She was a close second for man of the match. Claire was running around everywhere in midfield and determinedly chasing every ball and hassling the opposition. The defenders were working hard and made some good clearances, keeping calm under pressure. A few of Bourne's goals came from having people in the right place on the posts, something that South could have done with a bit more of…practice makes perfect.

An enjoyable match and a good start to the season.
