Another new line-up but the L3s' are really starting to come together and it showed today. It was lucky that we made time to practice short corners before the game, as we got quite a lot of them. I think one resulted in a goal. And for a change, we only conceded one or two (short corners, that is).

There were two great strikes from Flo, and Louise pushed in a great cross from Claire. Newcomer Laura settled straight in at defence, making some nice tackles and clearances. Close to the end of the game we thought Louisa had scored a fifth goal, from a short, but the ball was judged not to have come out of the D so it didn't count.

Overall, an improvement on movement and positioning since last week's game, and also on marking. More short corner practice would definitely be good so we can capitalise on these. Well done on a great game, our first win of the season, and our biggest league win ever!
