Another Saturday another 11am meet at Long Road for the A TEAM and we all had HIGH HOPES that we may be THE CHAMPIONS this week. We were all STRONGER than last week and keep to FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHT to win.

Sadly Bourne decided to score a goal and BURST OUR BUBBLE but we did not want to GIVE UP ON THE GOOD TIMES. We were UNDER PRESSURE but GOT THE FEELIN’ we would ok if we were to PLAY HARD.

Kim KEPT ON MOVIN’ around the whole pitch but also JUST KEPT ROLLING ROLLING ROLLING, reminding us all that shin pads aren’t all they are meant to be. Lou C is a FIGHTER and when her opposite number gets KNOCKED DOWN and doesn’t get up again Dr Diane comes to the RESCUE.

Guyro is not a fan of this ONE handed reverse stick talking and thinks we all need to GET LOW LOW LOW. THE NIGHTS for the Bobby on the Beat, Elaine, never stops her from STILL STANDING. Georgie H is CHANGING and is no longer THINKING OUT LOUD, but still playing like a SUPER TROOPER. Flix did some great passes and was MAGIC in the midfield and up front.

It was C’EST LA VIE for Jess as she retired at half time with probably a DRUNK or HUNGOVER related pulled muscle but there was no FEAR as we had Georgina J aka Jeff arrive to SPICE UP OUR GAME.

With the Men’s 1s being useful CHEERLEADERS and the many subs there to LEAN ON, Jeff was NOT LETTING GO of that ball and a cracking RUN and pass to Laura L who scored by splitting the WAVES of Bourne's defence and she EARNED IT.

THREE LITTLE BIRDS of Flix, Kim and George H for man of the match and a joint THE LEMON SONG goes to Lou C and Kim meant hockey for this week was over and lets hope next week we GET LUCKY!
