Today we welcomed some more new players, Georgie, Jess and Harriet, who all made a great start.

City were a strong team with some fast and skillful players. The defenders were kept busy and worked very hard, and Loopy made some fantastic saves. City scored within about a minute of push back, after which South woke up. Having gained confidence in the second quarter, we managed a couple of breaks on goal and at half time it was looking OK.

City had a surge of goals and lots of short corners in the second half. As a team, South worked hard and kept running around, we just need to get some more practice at playing as a team together and getting in the right places for each other.
