Addendum
An enjoyable game despite the result. Evenly contested, played at a fast pace, with both teams creating some chances, but not a hatful as the defences also played well. The difference was March’s sharpness in front of goal.
Our goal came early in the second half, when Chris M got himself to the right post in time to deflect in Dave’s short corner strike. A neatly taken goal. This brought the score back to 1-2, but March added a third soon after to decide the result.
