We put up a good fight in the first half. With most action taking mid-field, both teams played very evenly./p>

Sadly in the second half the spare players City had, and therefore running oomph!, made the difference. South were unable to match City's redoubled efforts and conceded two goals. At least we got a lot (probably 20!) of short corner practice!
