We came second. Loopy was amazing, and a couple of opposition players were heard to comment 'their keeper is awesome'. She won man of the match for making loads of amazing saves, and also lemon of the match for taking out Bury's smallest player. South were slightly slow after the Xmas break (but Bury probably had just as long a break......). We made a significant improvement in the second half, conceding only one goal rather than 5. It was a wise move to pull Ania back into defence, she was again pretty much inpenetrable and was a close second for man of the match, only 1 vote behind. Tighter marking is key, and one of Bury's strengths was pouncing on rebounds and putting on pressure in the D.
