L2 1-3 St Ives Ladies 3
Lottie AlvesThe L2s knew Saturday's match would be tough as they were playing, second in the league, St Ives ladies 3s. A strong start by South led the side to an early goal from Emma-Rose Smith, with South remaining 1-0 up at half time. Running against the wind in the second half seemed to take its toll, and after a couple of messy skirmishes in the D, St Ives scored their first, 2 more followed in quick succession and despite some great runs and near misses South Ladies 2s couldn't find the goal again and the match ended 1:3 to St Ives. Great play by all of South Ladies 2s (seen in the number of MOM nominations, with the final result a tie between Emma, Roisin and me).

For commenting that she was sad she hadn't touched the ball just before St Ives scored
