In a match which raised lots of questions, South L1s had all the answers:

• Is drinking from 6pm-3am the night before a match a good idea? Answer: (a) Yes, I scored an awesome goal (b) No, apparently body barging is not allowed and gets you a green card, or (c) All of the above?

• What formation are we going to play? 3-2-3-2? Not 2-3-2-3? No, 3-2-3-2. Which way round is the pitch again?

• Can we play with a Dutch Sweeper and a Dutch Centre Back? We only need our amazing Dutch centre back – that ball was definitely going in when she saved it!

• Is it ever going to stop raining?

• Is Kim in the youngest half of the team? Depends what you mean by “half”.

• Did the ball cross the line? Absolutely! Excellent goal by Kim: 1-0 South. Will Kim be Goal Queen at the end of the season…?

• Did Oundle manage to breach South's mighty defence? Well, maybe once, but the goal was disallowed.

• How many times can South stick tackle in one match? TOO many!!

• Is deliberately stopping the ball going into the D with your foot allowed? Um, no...

• Why is Lou on the floor again? Because she can only hit a reverse shot lying down.

• Why is Kim crying again? A nasty knock from a wayward face mask (NB. Meant to protect the face, not injure it) so for good reason, but not enough to avoid the Lemonsy.

• What was the final score? 4-0 to South, an excellent performance, soaking up the pressure and attacking quickly on the break.

• Who was the MOM? After a great team performance, there were votes for Blythe, Elaine and Ellie but honours were split between Fairlie (rumours that she voted for herself were quickly quashed!) and Amalia – storming runs up the wing and strong in midfield.

• How did Howling get a Lemon vote when she wasn't even there?!

• How did Flix miss out on being Lemon when she got a card?!
