Sunshine on a Rainy Day
...by Zoë Pollock
I see Sean in the darkness
I see Dave in light
I see big Nev’s light shining in through the night
Make me feel make me feel
Like Phil belongs
Don’t leave me don’t leave me here Thomas
All I alone
Cause Howard’s eyes like summer skies,
Blue words in Tom’s ocean clear as in Jan’s eye!
Sunshine on a rainy day
Makes the goals, makes the goals
Trip trip trip away
Sunshine on a rainy day
Makes the goals, makes the goals
Trip trip trip away
Sunshine on a rainy day
Makes the goals, makes the goals
Trip trip trip away
Sunshine on a rainy day
Makes the goals, makes the goals
Trip trip trip away
You touch me with Jo’s spirit
You touch me with Paul’s heart
You touch me in Simon’s darkness,
An odd feeling starts
Make you feel make you feel so Rupert unreal (so Rob unreal)
Like an Alec in the desert
Like a James on the street
Sunshine on a rainy day
Makes the goals, makes the goals
Trip trip trip away
Sunshine on a rainy day
Makes the goals, makes the goals
Trip trip trip away
Sunshine on a rainy day
Makes the goals, makes the goals
Trip trip trip away
Sunshine on a rainy day
Makes the goals, makes the goals
Trip trip trip away
Repeat to fade…

Two people are claiming the same goal here, because the final score was definitely 6-5 (5-3 at half-time). The Umpires confirmed it as that.

Hmm. The update has taken away Phil's goal. And Phil definitely scored...

I thought that...We must have scored 7 then! I definitely scored two, I set up Si, Rob and Dave (from a shorty), with Tom South getting the opener from a top of the circle flick!

I scored one as well...

Only one? I'm sure I remember a tomahawk from the top of the circle at the end of a 50 yard dribble as well as the standard tap-in...
It was absolutely definitely 6 in total. I'm going with Tom S's goal wasn't actually scored by him, as that was through a crowd (and not the opener, which was scored by Simon). I guessing Tom's shot was one Nev touched (stole!) on the way.
