Up The Smoke

Harry Lewis

Short report for Jan

Strong start by South saw them keep the pressure on Upminster in their own half, when against the run of play Upminster scored from a short corner. South replied well with some lovely interplay down the left which lead to Jack tapping it in for his first goal for the club.

South struggled in the second half to get ahead and unfortunately Upminster managed to sneak in another goal. South again responded strongly and a free hit outside the 25 from Scott found Harry L on the back post to work some magic around the keeper to make it 2-2. South were pushing for the win until a breakaway from Upminster saw them steal the win in the final few minutes of the game.
