This weekend the ladies 5s had a very successful match, beating St Neots 6-0. Within the first minute, an excellent goal was scored by Juliet which set the tone for the rest of the match. For the remainder of the first half the ball was predominantly in our possession, with plenty of opportunities met by a solid St Neots defence.

In the second half, the standard was maintained, keeping the St Neots' defence busy. Our next goal was scored by Sarah, followed by two from Niamh, taking advantage of the green card against St Neots. We saw an amazing save by our goalkeeper Lou, who took out one of the opposition players to keep the ball out of the goal. To seal our inevitable victory, Ann (player of the match), and Juliet scored our last two goals near the end, showing classy skills to conclude our dominating performance. Overall it was a great performance by everyone, individually and as a team, and a great re-start into our season.
