Despite being short on players (a result of miscommunication ) camb south were optimistic in making a result of the game. They made a good start by playing some wonderful hockey with some good communication and passing. They even managed to win a couple of short corners. Nothing had come from them but still made a good effort. Unfortunately Kettering took advantage of their superior numbers by catching south on the break and scoring their first goal. South however, were undeterred and carried on playing positive hockey. The second half came and it continued as more positive hockey was played and everyone made a great effort. As play went on Kettering got a second despite a great effort in defending. 
 

Despite having less players south were close in getting a good result. If they had a full squad, then the could have even won the game
 

Pom went to new boy Henry for having a great first game. Good to have you in the team!

a special mention to Alan for some heroic defending. There's a reason why the call him the rock!

Lom also went to Henry for achieving the rare feat of Pom and lom. Not often you have more cards than appearances.
