The one with the slow pitch

Kate Dixon

Purple to purple? Mostly. Goal in the first 5? Yes. Short in the first 10? Yes.

A convincing 4-2 win away at Peterborough, despite the village style hockey for the first 15 minutes, a slow pitch and Kenrda making her debut.

Izzy added to her never spoken about goal tally with a push pass into goal in the first 2 minutes and topping her shot on a short in the final 5... only the greats get away with these type of goals.

Juliette, however, showed composure on her first appearance in the 1s, and put herself in all the right places to slot in two from the back post and penalty spot.

Player of match Lucia, made the pitch and everyone round her look even slower, running past the Peterborough defence on several occasions and working the ball into threatening positions.

No strops, cards, or missing pizza this week. On to the next.
