Two in the top corner are worth two between the legs

South travelled to St Ives with a depleated side once again with just the 12 men. Despite only having 12 and the perillous task ahead playing top of the league south were in positive spirits which wouldn't last the day.

The game started with south under immidiate pressure from the St Ives press. They had 2 short corners early which were plucked out the top corner by Matt in goal, they then established that was not how to score past Matt and put their mistakes right with the next short corner placing it between Matts legs, this was their third goal of the game but nobody needs to hear about the first 2 but one of them was another nutmeg which seems to be how 50% of our goals go in at the moment.

The second half showed a much improved performance by south with Jacko probably getting his first touch of the game after a slight lack of service in the first half. Despite the goals Adam and Pete put in a good performance at the back as the delt with the constant pressure. Pretty much the only interesting thing that happened in the game was when Ethan accidently tackled one of their players to the ground which he was given a friednly push in the back by the opposition, this seemed to be only seen by the south players though. Despite Ethan being the one who was pushed Puds seemed to be the most enraged,  standing up for his teammate. Another goal happened in the second half but again nobody needs to hear about that other than the fact that this one wasn’t Matt's fault. Overall a much better performance by all in the second half especially with only one sub.

After the game most left straight away to watch the rugby and karma came back to bite them as England lost but those who stayed were rewarded with more than enough food.

All the boys worked hard apart from Ali who could have worked harder as after the game he stated he didn’t need a shower cause he didn't sweat all game. So basically down to 11 men south put in a valient display.
