Well done to everyone today we played really well as a group and had a great first half but unfortunately the second half did not go as well. Lauren did some amazing sweeps and passing the ball up the pitch. Which Nicky, Harry or Eleanor received. Nicky did some amazing hits and had an excellent shot on goal during the short corner. Harry had some great tackles and was great at getting back. May did some amazing defence it was very heroic especially during the short corners. Polly was in great positioning in the D and did some good runs up. Alice did some good passes up and down the line and some great shots from the sideline. Lavinia did some good runs and was in a good position for receiving (even though she slipped on the ball). Esther was there to receive the ball from Lavinia even though she kept slipping on the floor because of no Astros ( it’s not ice rink Esther!) Eleanor had good positioning and was always there to pick up balls from Lauren or Nicky. Georgia did lots of running and was always there for defence and mid and was there to support in short corners. She also pulled out a few acting skills that benefitted the team. Elly had a solid position at the back and did some great 16s. Also thank you to Lou for stepping up and being our goalie she did some great saves however we were all disappointed as she promised christmas dinner and there was not one in sight!
