‘GO ON NEIL, GET IT OUT..’

Hannah Muncey

..and get it out he did. A green card. To the opposition. BYE FELICIA Standard pre game chat - where to get laser hair removal, passing into space and getting an early goal etc The game started and it started to rain. No problem for Neil who popped on his poncho (a clear one no less to ensure his outfit could still be seen) and continued his BAU. The girls, however, were less prepared for the British climate or for the intensity Peterborough brought to the table. There are talks of some great runs by Connie, lovely positioning by Charlotte and fabulous tackles by Emma, but ultimately Peterborough scored a goal. Not ideal. There was end to end pressure which had Tim choking on his breakfast. He keeps us young and we age him greatly (but can confirm he had his weetabix eventually). And it was our Anna who was leading the sass/skill balance on Saturday when she drew the keeper out just enough to pop the ball across and leave an open goal for Connie (who didn’t miss - credit where credit’s due). The rest of the game went by. It stayed 1-1 and we could go home. Good news. But not before another LOM bites the dust for Hannah Muncey. I know, I’m shocked too that ‘the best aerial’, ‘lovely aerial’ and commentary that led to ‘laughs from the fans’ leads us here, but here we are. (Let it be known that the aerial had impressive height). Oh gosh and I almost forgot - big old POM for Lydia, yeah she did some (a lot of) pretty good saves and kept the show on the road. Thanks for always backing a hun up, pleasure doing business.
