Oh hockey saturdays! A beautiful game played by the L2s this week. With a prime pitch time this week was bound to go well for the L2s after their win last week. Starting with a animal orientated warmup the L2s got ready to play st Ives. 

At last the game started. The L2s starting strong defending and chasing every ball. At around 25 minutes a promising charge began, with a graceful pass forward to Jess, meaning 1 on 1 with the goalie. Suddenly disaster, Jess was wiped out! Flick…

After Jess’ winding it was up to Juliet to make the shoreline 1-0, everyone held their breath… a gorgeous flick to the left. The score now say 1-0 to south.

The rest of the game was relatively well matched by both teams with our L2s holding onto the win into the last seconds… finally the last whistle blew.

Players of the match were decided: Hayley for an absolute stormer defending to the last & Juliet for one lovely flick.
