It was the first game back after Christmas and we were eager to get stuck in!

It was a rocky start when Naomi met her first opponent- the fire alarm... After bravely silencing it we were ready to tackle City 5s.

We starting strongly with brilliant team work and passing, a final slap from Claudia gave us the first goal of the game at the 7th minute! We fought strongly to hold the win. Selene was amazing, saving goal after goal with brilliant skill. Despite our perseverance, City managed to score a goal at the end of the first half, making the score 1-1.

As we went into the second half, we were eager to get another goal back. Everyone played brilliantly, but sadly, despite opportunities in their d, we were not able to get another goal and ended the game 4-1 to City.

Pom went to Selene for her incredible goal keeping, with particular mention to a fantastic stick save!
Lom for Daisy, who was so keen to get back on the pitch, she forgot to take her jumper off!
