South started the day strong in the car park with Matt Withington not being able to count to 5. Eventually south left long road and headed off to Peterborough which would prove to be a thrilling encounter. Peterborough started strong, scoring within the first 2 minutes by their left wing hard into the corner of the goal. South responded quickly with a goal from Andy. South goal scoring abilities took a hit with Ben missing two sitters with his lemon worthy socks. Thanks to a fantastic effort from Kieran, south entered the break 2-1 up.

With the second half. South started strong but Peterborough saw an opportunity and finished it. Although with a final rally and some quick goals by an error from a Peterborough wing back and an amazing across goal from Jamie, South finished the first game of the season 4-2, equalling last years number of wins.
