Following their success, the previous week, Cambridge South 6’s went into this game full of calm and cool after a slight match delay and a high energy warm up lead by G.
 
The home game at Long Road saw both teams work with determination. There were a lot of experienced players with strong hits on them as well as some good runners on the opposition.
 
It was a fairly even first half, but we soon gained momentum and had some great near goals. By the second half we settled into the game and did some excellent passes and dominated the game.
 
The first goal came from Nicky, it was a powerful one and set the tone for the rest of the match where we continued to attack and defend with strength.
 
A run down the right wing by Charlotte and fantastic hit, was finished with a right on target goal by Zarah. Player of the Match honours were shared between Zarah and Nicky for their goals and great play that saw us winning 2-0. 

All round a good game and one of many to come.
