A bit like Gando, the report is late

Seb Dias

Note for future late reports - this was a quick summary for the newspapers, I was nice this week, next time they'll all be pearollers and lucky deflections…

South M3s produced probably their best performance of the season yet against a strong university side. The university dominated possession but South set up a strong defence and replied with counterattacking hockey. South got the first goal with a short corner being converted by George Anderson. The second half was much the same with the forwards only getting a few chances, but after a brilliant break from Joe Whitaker was ended unfairly a flick was awarded. George A stepping up to calmly slot away and give South a two goal lead. This finally woke the university up to start attacking the South D more, and converted a short corner of their own to make the last few minutes tense, with South holding on for the win. Man of the match went to George Toynton who made some key saves to keep the university side out, and even picked up a knock for his troubles.

He is still claiming it was a 50:50. The bench is wondering if it is for green or yellow.
