M2 1-3 March Town Mens 1

Dave Aston

After my undeserved lemon for doing what any team parent would do, no prizes for guessing the theme of this week’s match report. Don’t worry, I’ll keep it brief

Alex Anthony – (Uniqlo Men’s Supima Cotton Boxer Briefs). In the screen role, provides added support and doesn’t bunch up.

Jim Hockley – (Sunspel). Luxurious player with unrivalled attention to detail. Lasts a lifetime

Pete Richer – (Rubinacci): so so silky, ridiculously comfortable on the ball.

Jonty Hoard – (Uniqlo Airism Boxer Briefs) – all about performance, and what a great one it was on debut Saturday. Fantastically well taken finish

John West – (Tommy John Second Skin), supersoft [hockey hands], comfortable [in the screen role], and relatively quick drying

Mariano Rosenzvaig – (Hanes Men’s Comfortsoft Waistband) : simple and inexpensive, and lasts [for avoidance of doubt, he’s been playing hockey before most of you were born]

Ollie Lamming – (ExOfficio Give N Go Boxer Brief) – runs all day and always caused March problems, can handle a sweaty workout.

Jack Kirkpatrick – (J Crew) – always offers a range of cheeky and silly patterns [with his brilliant runs]. Has a little bit of fun too. Built to last a long time.

Ethan Lubbock – (Lululemon) – simple and classic, yet incredibly comfortable [on the ball] and functional [with his range of passing]

Will Havelange – (Unbound Merino) – soft and subtle to the touch

Matteo Cicuta – (Hamilton and Hare) – simple comfortable and reliable. Some great runs all game, causing havoc amongst the March midfield, keep this positivity going Matt and the goals will follow.

Alec Alston – (Adidas) – athletic and stylish

Dave Aston – (Everlane) – keeps things simple.

George Toynton – (Bjorn Borg Performance) – elastic, top performing. Was comfortable with every activity March subjected him to. Great game.

In terms of the match itself, whilst I’m sure we all still feel quite pants about it even 24 hours + on, it was a great performance full of heart and controlled aggression, away at a team second in the league. Keep your heads up (or your pants on), more displays like that and we’ll climb the table soon!
