The match was a close run thing, and the fives did well on a bobbly pitch. At start of play Esther forgot number of players on pitch, 11 not 10, and once reminded the match quickly got underway . Rosie in the defence created many breaks with brilliant passes to Nicola. Unfortunately, we conceded one goal by the end of the first half with a score line of 1-0. 

The start of the second half secured LOM for Esther, with a repeat of the earlier forgetfulness! Soon after, Nicole was winded by the opposition. Nevertheless, we created many opportunities, with the forwards hungry for goals. POM goes to Sophie for great strikes and the goal! A frustrating second goal was conceded, and the final score line stood at 2-1 to Spalding. A close run thing indeed.
