It was a pleasant evening for hockey at long road where we welcomed nomads for early evening match. After Alex B remembered to take of his jumper (an action which was deemed lemon worthy) we were under way. Immediately nomads pressed us hard with south giving them a resolute defence which let nothing but hundreds of short corners none if which were conceded. When we did get the ball into nomads half we were pretty lethal getting 2 goals to give us the lead going into the half time break. Two more goals for us followed one of which was a beautifully worked goal from Stuart C putting the ball into Rob B to put the ball into an empty net. The other goals were scored by Stuart C and 2 for Jordan W. However we were not perfect conceding 2 ourselves one of which was a penalty flick unfortunately.

However this was a very good strong performance from south here on in which we can build on. Special shout outs to Ben L who was stupendous in goal and dishonourable mention for Alex B for various reasons mostly pizza related.
