It was a close-fought first half with everyone working hard. We almost held a clean sheet but Newmarket got a goal in just before half time. This clearly gave them a boost, and they added six more in the second half. L6s showed plenty of energy but we gave the ball away too often and Newmarket took advantage of that. PoM was Sophie L for excellent runs and positioning.
