CSHC L2s but make it HSM

Jasmine Ong

Thought i managed to get away without having to write a match report, but alas, the day has come.

Nic was so avid that she would get LotM (slip and slide); she was already preparing her match report, inspired by her pre-match high school musical tunes. So, I've decided to poach her idea and assign everyone a HSM character. However, there does seem to be only 11 named characters, so will have to make do with 3 Troy Boltons…

Freya - Gabriella – star of the show (PotM), bringing lots of positive energy. Scored a great first goal for South from a lovely short corner routine with Jess!

Jess - Mrs Darbus - like Mrs Darbus, Jess makes sure that everyone knows their role, orchestrating the team and directing shorts to help us get a win and a clean sheet!

Coco - Troy Bolton #1 - like Troy, Coco was trying to be in too many places at once, juggling traffic, hockey and dinner! – A* for commitment, with some great play

Louisa – Troy Bolton #2 - just like Troy switching from jersey to mic, outfit changes got a bit too much for Louisa, not putting her face mask on properly, resulting in her breaking the short early as she couldn’t see and instead felt the ‘vibe’ it was time to run out.

Jas – Troy Bolton #3 - also going to assign me as Troy and the keeper as Troy’s dad - like Troy’s dad, the keeper didn’t want me to explore my passion ~acting~ scoring, leading to me quite literally unable to ‘break free’, with my sock getting stuck in the keepers buckle after being slide tackled to the floor – earning me LotM.

Daisy and Charlotte - Sharpay and Ryan -, deadly duo, owning the stage together, with some great runs and play upfront, resulting in 2 nicely taken goals from Charlotte

Libby - Chad - like Chad is a Wildcat, you don’t know what to expect. One minute she’s making an epic stop on the line, the next minute she’s swinging and missing – but she’s resilient and always has her head in the game

Jenny and Nic - Kelci Nielsen - like the pianist, very underrated and consistent. Jenny and Nic help set the rhythm and tempo just like Kelsi sets the music, working from the back to ensure stability throughout the team.

Hannah – Jason Cross – like Jason, a great team player: super steady, reliable, and able to slot into whatever position is needed

Mo - Taylor McKessie – mainly due to both being very intelligent and sciency. Like Taylor, Mo is super creative and resilient, making lots of great runs up front.

Zoe - Zeke aka Creme Brulé man – Always lifting the team’s energy whilst also providing delicious after-game treats

Lu - Martha Cox, aka Secret Hip-Hopper - some great moves in goal, including a couple of 1-1 saves to ensure we came away with a clean sheet.

Despite a very early pb, lots of traffic, and horrible weather, we managed to walkaway with a very solid 3-0 win and hopefully can take this winning spirit into our game tomorrow!
