On an unexpectedly sunny (and arguably far too warm for hockey) afternoon, the L2s/L3s and L3s/L4s faced off for a pre-season internal friendly.

The 2s/3s came out pressing well and kept the pressure on throughout, eventually taking a 6–0 win. The scoreline didn’t tell the whole story though, with the 3s/4s defence putting in a serious shift to keep the scoreline from getting too out of hand! Shree was everywhere, combining some excellent defending with an impressive amount of running to earn a very well-deserved POM. 

Further up the pitch, Kendra and Daisy both had some promising attempts on goal, while Katie treated us to some excellent dribbling runs through the opposition.

A good run-out, plenty of tired legs; the afternoon was rounded off with pizza for everyone.
