26 Sep 26, trip 1 of 2 to Peterborough. This did not go well last year. 5-1 loss. Could we better this result. Yes. Is it the result we wanted. No. 

A game for the purists. 1st half 0-0. Some chances for each team. Not many. Defences hold. Hot, tired, lots of defenders, lots of forwards not many mids. Both sides go up one side but cannot switch play to then attack the other side of the pitch. We need to work on this at training. A card for kicking the ball away to South is one of the few events of note. Half ends.

2nd half 2-0 Peterborough. Some chances for each team. Not many. 1 defence holds. Hot, tired, lots of defenders, lots of forwards, 1 less mid. Peterborough gives South a chance. Big tackle, big noise, green card. Big shout, umpire does not like big noise, another green card. Some shorts against 9. Back against 11 goal. Peterborough can do shorts. Goal, South do not pick themselves up after the 1st, goal. Hot, tired, playing better. Many shorts won, time runs out.

South are sad. Menzies decides to punish himself by chaffing – woolly jumper no shirt. Shoes no socks. Josh R, decides to join him, puts foot through the bottom of his sock. So does Josh O. jeans, no boxers. No one mentions anything until lemon is voted for, bad luck Alex. 

Monday – switch the play. Do some shorts. South win every remaining game this season….
