Difficult day for the 3's. Arguably the better side but nothing clicked and were our own worst enemies.

Despite the new nicknames, the spine of Josh's through the team continues to riddle confusion.

City converted a short in the first half, and South responded by controlling the game in the second but struggled to break down the stubborn City defence.

One of the J's up front won a short in the last minute somewhat surreptitiously. Shin and Menzies short combination routine finally clicked and bamboozled the City defence, with Ivo converted a deflection from 5 yards.

Point saved, but could have, should have been more.

This in itself is an improvement from last season where even the one point tended to slip away! Onwards and upwards, ironically with Wisbech and their aerials landing on pitches near you next week!
