They had 5 short corners in the match and scored 4 of them. We had probably the same number and scored none. Apart from that it was 1-1 so a creditably draw really. Eliot coolly slotted a flick late in the second half (after Rich's shot was stopped on the line by a defender's foot) to cancel out an earlier P'Boro goal powered into the top right corner giving Steve no chance.

If any South player left the pitch satisfied with the result then they should be publicly flogged. We were more than a match for Peterborough in open play all through the match. We had just as many attacks and they were there for the taking. However, they had an awesome short corner routine which our (usually pretty sharp) short corner defence just couldn't match.
