So here we were again, another 1s v 2s clash, this time coming in the form of the top versus bottom of the league!

Even before push-back, first blood had gone to the 2s as their team had all managed to arrive at the pitch on time and not in Cottenham (see Lemon award!). This might have been expected however, since they were the home side! 

In the first fifteen minutes the 1s made some good progress into the 2s' half, despite being a man down, but failed to convert any chances that materialised. When both sides finally had an equal number of players the 2s continued to hold on and managed to get a couple of breaks into the 1s' D but thanks (once again) to Steve and the solid defence the score remained 0-0 at half time.

The second half was very much a different story. The 1s started to break into the 2s half a lot more and the chances kept coming. Chris P converting a well worked short corner routine and Graham scoring two, including a belter into the roof of the net from about 5 yards!
