South were UNSTOPPABLE this week, with an epic win of six goals to nil. Our defence worked incredibly hard, with the ball rarely passing our 23. Demonstrating impressive stick skills and a series of one-two passes, the midfield pushed the ball up front and it wasn't long before Lauren scored from a cheeky deflection. Our midfield continued to break through City's defence, with particularly great runs from Kath and Hannah. The goals came thick and fast, with Eimer claiming two and Flo increasing our lead.

Despite an otherwise strong performance, Emma S won the Lemon title for taking and re-taking a penalty, then hitting the ball straight at Harriet's feet! Grace also gained Lemon votes for failing to mention it was her birthday until the second half! Lauren secured our victory with a fab hat-trick. Man of the match went to Becky for fantastic defence and lots of running. Great win for the Ladies 2s, and hopefully an example of what's to come!
