The ladies' side of the club has more than doubled in less than five years, so it is often a the case that a "first" happens. However, that did not stop me raising a glass on Saturday night to Polly and Nicole, who have captained us to the first L5 win. Hopefully this is the start of many.

The team contained a mixture of new faces and returning CSHC members, and it was truly a team effort that contributed to this dominant performance. With goals from three of the front line (well done Anna, Sarah and Nicky), and a last-minute offer of a keeper from Loopy.

Well done to Fi and Annabel for bringing along a supporter - more of this please!

Welcome to Liz and Rosie, who both played a blinder despite it being the first time. Obviously all of those 3-a-side games have really payed off.

Sadly, a well deserved Lemon for me - I have obviously taken my foot of the gas since stepping down as captain - managing to both turn up late due to a little nap and subsequently play the formation that I had seen the evening before, which had since been altered.
