Win, Lose or draw

We suffered from not having a few of our regulars, but were fortunate to welcome Roland Li into our midfield, whom made his presence felt.

Solid saves by both keepers, with equal praise for the goals scored. A glorious strike from Andy Waddell in the first half allowing the home side to enjoy the sweet sound of the ball hitting the backboard. The equaliser came in the second half from a well worked ball around our solid defence.

Numerous short corners made up for our pre game practice, but were denied a conversion. Our last minute attack was awarded with a final whistle short corner, but concerns for a dazed Kettering keeper held up proceedings. Unfortunately the opportunity lacked the performance of our well versed routines and had to settle for a draw.

The game that felt like a loss, but I’m sure the social was a win.
