Lesson of the day…
Lucia CatleyLesson of the day:
England hockey definition of a bully- when two opposing players stand with the ball between them, then strike their sticks together and then on the floor BEFORE going to hit the ball.
Lucia’s definition of a bully- don’t listen to any whistle. Ignore all umpires. Disregard all rules.
After our 4-0 win previously away in Watton, would history repeat itself?
The first half had finished. Watton-2. South-0
Half time came, there was only one thing for it… A speech from Mrs Cooil. Going back onto the pitch we were more determined and goal hungry than ever.
From a Watton foot in South’s D it gave a short corner for South. Injected to Rob, who smashed it past all of Watton’s defenders into the goal. Easy.
The second goal came from Katie Cooil who drove in from the 23 and scored. Even.
Third goal came from Laura who scored from the base line. It was like something you would see from a skills YouTube account. This was then followed up with a fourth. Textbook.
MoM votes were split Katie M, Katie Cooil, Tamsin, Saz, Anna and Alice. Alice who through-out was a threat to the Watton defence and has great Stick skillz was voted MoM
