R.I.P Steve Jobs
Harry LewisNow let’s be clear from the off, I am an android user through and through. I converted across from the apple regime about 5 years ago and haven’t looked back since. But, to emphasis how serious I am to Tim about my team theme Halloween social idea here it goes.
Dave Potter – 2004 iPod Click Wheel
Now this was fast, agile with quick reflexes just like Big Daddy Dave in goal, great game with some superb saves to keep us in the game.
Joel Harrison – 2008 iMac
Slick, good looking, old but still good enough to keep up with the up and coming youngest. This defines Joel as a person, an apple product and a hockey player. Decent game from Joel, great balls down the line and managed to keep himself off the cards.
Tom Rosselli – 2007 iPod Nano
Just sweeps everything up into one place. Anything that got near Rosselli was swept into his arms and parried away like the resilient defender he is.
Scott Catley – 2004 iPod Photo
Just delivering picture perfect passes all day (apart from the couple that went straight to their forwards). Good game from Scott and loved the driving runs through the middle to disturb play.
Connor Trimble – 2005 iPod Shuffle
Just like the shuffle you never know what you’re going to get next, and that’s exactly what the oppo were thinking anytime they got near Connor. With his new(ish) shoes and quick footwork he was running round them constantly.
Will Townley – 2008 iPhone 3G
The one that everyone loves. Can’t put a foot wrong and when he does it’s never his fault. Great play from Will in the middle today, fighting all game to help the team will possession and gain momentum moving forward.
Harry Chalk – 2001 iPod 1st Gen
Mr. reliable, can’t go wrong with the classics and Chalky put in a masterclass routine display in the middle. Getting stuck in and battling hard to command that midfield. Didn’t see any forward balls though…
Harry Schumann – 2006 iPod Shuffle
Small but very effective, just keeps going and going, and you never know when it’s going to stop. Great work rate all through the game and loved the hassling throughout.
Tim Winter – 2004 iPod Mini
Stylish, slick and very fashionable and must need in any team. Good game today from Tim just needs to stay on his feet more in the D.
Ed Doust – 2008 MacBook Air
Old school style done at a quality level. With reports that the MacBook Air could break easily this was the perfect fit for the man who found himself in A&E in Kings Lynn. Hope you get better soon Ed, just remember to be 5 next time.
Harry Lewis – 2007 iPod Classic
Classic forward, classic apple product. You know what you’re getting. Unlike the other forwards Harry doesn’t play midfield or have an alternative position. You get what you see, a forward doing a forwards job (apart from scoring). I did actually score a goal but it got disallowed because apparently it got lifted in but I know too well I deflected it into the goal at shin level height.
Cal Middleton – 2018 MacBook Air (3rd Generation)
Just a league above the rest really, outperforms us all. Good debut from Cal, great attacking runs all game, can’t wait to see more of him on the pitch throughout the season.
Sam Highfield – 2007 iPod Touch
A great cameo from Sam, much like the iPod touch, but Sam didn’t touch the ball once when he was on. Man of the Match performance though, good stuff.
