Souths M6s met spalding away on a cold Saturday it was an even but tough match. During the first half spalding scored a solid first goal to kick of this match. In retaliation, South quickly brought the score line to a draw with it being the first of Shahbaz's amazing drag flicks. Spalding continued to have quite a few chances. However our goalie, Joe came to our rescue with multiple saves, eventually leading to his well earned MoM. Half time saw an even score of 1-1.

The second half started of with one of the many injuries for south that fell upon our team of 11. This was followed up with the second goal from Spalding. However South persevered through allowing Shahbaz to strike the target with yet another dragflick. Soon after, John Greaves got a powerful ball to the ankle (again). Spalding kept on advancing into our half but luckily Sean kept them out with his powerful sweeps and tackles. Ending in a 2-2 draw, not to bad for a team with no substitutes and numerous injuries!
