This match was unreasonably hot. Especially when the Bishops Stortford team turned up with only 10 so we lost a sub to help them out (thanks Andy!).

Things I vaguely remember from the heat delirium:

• Howard winning MoM for his pair of beautiful goals
• Andy playing brilliantly against us...
• Me winning LoM for vetoing Andy as LoM
• Lachie's perfect flat, hard tomahawk across the D for Howard's carefully-prepared tap in....not unlike what we practiced in training
• Lachie and Dan both getting MoM votes for skills like that and also for somehow keeping running all the way through
• That someone else was supposed to write the match report
