A goal from Vincent inside the last two minutes rescued a point for the M5s from our derby match against newly promoted Nomads 3rds.

South struggled to match Nomads workrate through much of the first half, the visitors taking an overdue lead with the last play of the period when they pounced on a loose ball at a penalty corner to thump home. The goal may have had dubious elements to it (*ahem*) but that Nomads were ahead at the internal was anything but.

Our levels improved after the break, exemplified by Player-of-the-Match Huw at centre-back. Jordan came close to an equaliser with a deflection that looped over the Nomads ‘keeper but dropped on to the roof of the net rather than under the bar. However South got the reward our second half performance merited late on (as in inside the last two minutes) when Vincent’s shot through a crowd found the bottom corner of the visitors net.
